Condition 1. My Lords accept the assurance of the Dock Company that they will submit plans of the Dock to the Naval Authorities and endeavour in every way to meet their wishes, on the understanding that the dock as constructed will be capable of accommodating a first class battleship, and that the plans will be forwarded for the decision of the Board of Admiralty; the Dock Company at once undertaking to begin the new dock and complete it as soon as possible.
